Kate's 4th Birthday

Kate offically turned 4 at 7:01 p.m. We celebrated by having her blow out the candles on her cake at exactly 7:01! Kate wanted a purple cake with princesses on it, so that's what she got. Here's the homemade version.

Before school, she celebrated with traditional pancakes and candles.

Jumping Jelly Beans

Kate had a fun birthday party for her friends at Jumping Jelly Beans. I had fun playing with all the children too!

Kate finally got the ladybug cake she's been wanting for over a year!

Spring Break

For spring break, we rented a cabin in Pigeon Forge. I wanted the beach, but Everett and Kate wanted the mountains.
We visited Wonderworks. This place really made Kate "wonder" the whole trip. She asked us about a million times why that building was upside down.

Everett and Kate in the space shuttle simulator. I enjoyed that!

Kate's always had a doll or stuffed animal with her. On this trip, little penguin went. He made his mark on the pin wall. A couple watching Kate make his imprint that that was cute.

So out little Kate is not very athletic. We tried putt-putt with her, but all she was interested in was drinking her Mellow Yellow. At least she looked cute for a quick picture. She gave up while Everett and I played.

Picking flowers was more interesting to her.

Sweet Kate picking Mommy a flower. That's my Kate!

Happy Easter

Kate was super excited the Easter Bunny came. We were so tired from Everett's party that we totally forgot to prepare for the bunny the night before, so thankfully Kate did not ask too many questions.

Everett turns 40!

Everett turned 40! To celebrate his fabulous age we had a surprise birthday party before he went into work. It was a great way to kick off our spring break!
