Merry Christmas

Last night as Mommy tucked me in to bed we heard bells from Santa's sleigh. I was almost asleep when Mommy came to pull the cover over me. I heard bells ringing gently outside my window. I sat up in bed quickly and listened quietly. Mommy said, "Santa must be near waiting for you to go to sleep". I nodded my head "yes" and drifted off to sleep quietly and very quickly. It was truly a "Magical" moment.

I decided to finish off a cookie Santa left on his plate.

Santa Came

"Oh Boy"! Santa really did come to my house.

Santa even left me a message on my Magna Doodle wishing me a Merry Christmas. WOW!

Santa brought me a vacuum, mop, and broom. I can clean the house like Mommy now!

I whipped up a special Christmas breakfast for Mommy and Daddy. I added "Pepper" to the delicious breakfast. I think this tastes perfect now.

Mommy and Daddy gave me some of my favorite books. I can put these in my new dollhouse bookshelf that Santa brought me.

Christmas at Nana and Papaw's

Uncle Brian gave me a shopping cart, play food, and Raggedy Ann.

Great Aunt Terri and Great Uncle Pat gave me a beautiful Cabbage Patch Doll. Mommy said she used to get Cabbage Patch dolls when she was a little girl too.

Great Uncle Tim, Sue, Christopher and Morgan gave me a Dora Doll and matching DVD. I wanted to "Comb hair" as soon as I saw her. I love Dora and have been wanting Dora toys.

"Oh Boy"! It's a kitty kitty. It's not real, but it sure does look real. My kitty's tummy moves like it's breathing. If I listen carefully then I can hear kitty breathing. I've wanted this kitty since I saw it this summer. Thanks Great Uncle Pat and Great Aunt Terri.

Papaw and Nana gave me a doll. Her name is Katherine too. I can call her Baby Kate now too.

Callaway Gardens

I had a great time seeing the lights at Callaway with Mommy, Daddy, Aunt B. Uncle Andy, and McKinley. I also saw Santa. Cousin McKinley did better sitting in his lap than I did. I had quite a grip on Mommy when we started going near him. I knew what we were doing and did not really like the thought of sitting on a stranger's lap.

You better not pout, you better not cry....

Books and play

Yes, our little Kate is intrigued with my Merck Manual. It looks like she's taking after Mommy at a young age with an interest in nursing or rehab.

I love to hide under the kitchen chairs. When Mommy finds me I'll shout, "You found me"!

Getting ready for the holidays.

We are getting very excited about Christmas. I talk about Santa and reindeer when I see them. We've decorated our tree, wrapped presents, made Christmas sugar cookies, and had a great Christmas party at church. I can't wait to go to Callaway to see Santa in person.
I loved helping decorate the tree with Mommy and Daddy. I was very careful not to break the "balls", which is what I called them.

I love my new Christmas dress that Ms. Debbie made for me. I even turned sideways for a couple of poses for Mommy.

I had so much fun at the Christmas party at church with my nursery friends. We played, ate lots of goodies, and made great Christmas crafts.
