Kate's Pink Motorcyle

Christmas 2009

Kate got the pink motorcycle and barbie jeep. She mentioned in the tub "I only asked for 2 presents, but got lots"! She's such an easy child to please. I'll know next year if we cut back she won't be disappointed.

Kate called Everett to tell him what Santa brought since he had to work on Christmas Eve. There's no way to contain her until he gets home.
Kate thought when it was Christmas morning that it snows. When we woke up and I told her to wait for me before we go see what Santa brough, I caught her peeking through the window to see if it had snowed. So sweet!

She loved that pink motorcyle! She must get that from her Daddy.

Bitty Baby Becca got a new bed and diaper changing table.

Kate's Christmas Program

Kate had her first Christmas program at school this week. We loved seeing her perform songs from her circle time and a couple of Christmas songs with her class. After the program we were able to stay and see Santa read a book with their class.

This is the 3rd Santa she's asked for a "Pink Barbie Jeep that Me, Sarah, Wil, and Emerson can ride in and a pink motorcyle".....verbatim every time!

Just cute pictures

Kate and her best friend Sarah playing dress up before ballet class.

I looked over one day and noticed this on my tree. Isn't it so sweet! I had to take a picture to keep the memory of my potato head ornament Kate so proudly displayed!

Pajama Day at School

Kate's class had Pajama Day and watched the Polar Express. They even had a visit from Civitan Santa, who brings gifts to certain classes in our county. Kate loved the princess presents from Santa.
I love the excitement in seeing them all open gifts with each other.

Kate's seen Santa 3 times this year and started off asking only for a pink motorcycle that rocks. Santa had a little trouble getting his elves to build that, but they made one that will have to do! This week she added in a pink barbie jeep for her and Sarah to ride. She has expensive taste in presents!

Kate excited to go to school in her pajamas.

Tis the Season!

We had a weekend full of activities at our church this weekend. We started with our Children's Christmas Party. Kate and McKinley had a great time making crafts and being with friends.

Kate chose to make a card for someone. When I asked who she wanted to make it for she replied, "Santa"! Here she is writing him a letter with a picture of Santa in red with his long beard and a cookie! She really wants that pink motorcycle she's asked for this year!

The Christmas program at church. My camera did not work, but she is the angel right beside the 2nd candle from the left.

When Becky and I were young, we were also in the Christmas program at our church. I was an angel and Becky was a donkey when we did it and now our children were the same. I only wish I had that picture to blog from years ago.

My little angel!
