A Spooktacular Stanfield Halloween

Our little "Glamour Girl" looked spectacular for Halloween this year.  She was almost a punk rock girl, which made me worry a little.  I was not ready for torn fish net stockings, red hair, and a nose ring!!!!! Thank goodness our little girly girl saw this "Glamourous" costume and never thought twice  about being a punk rock girl again.  She looked gorgeous with her faux wrap, heels, and hair pulled up.

Kate enjoyed the fall festival with her friends, the Justice League.

Our annual pumpkin carving was a kitty, which was quite fitting because we got a real Halloween kitty the week after this.  Pictures coming soon of Matilda Brookstick, the Halloween Kitty!

We hosted a fun Halloween party.  The kids made masks, spiders, and decorated pumpkins.  We had a scavenger hunt to find "bones". The kids has SOOO much fun finding bones and putting the skeleton back together again.  We had a bon fire going, roasted marshmallows, and ate lots of chili and "finger" foods.

Apple Picking in Ellijay

We had a great Stanfield Family Fun Day Apple Picking in Ellijay.  It was the first time for all of us to go apple picking at an Orchard.  Kate was so excited to go apple picking after all the books we have read.  She was so cute when she reached high in the tree and picked her first apple.  We broke a rule and climbed in the trees to get apples.  The only apples left were the ones high in the tree.  Kate had so much fun climbing trees, eating apple pie, and drinking apple cider.

We all laughed at this picture.  We thought it was cute!

Fall Festival

We began the first day of October decorating our house inside and out for Halloween.  Kate's really into "spooky" stuff this year.  We also went to our Fall Festival at church and had a great time.

Fair with Cousins

Kate had a fabulous time with her cousins at the Coweta County Fair.  Nothing beats a fair as the sun is setting while enjoying a fresh corn dog and caramel apple!  Yum!

First Day of Kindergarten

Kate has enjoyed her first year of school away from Mommy.  It took a little adjustment, but Aunt B. and McKinley have helped make her feel right at home.

More Christmas pictures.

Santa came!

Everett gave Kate a Rapunzel book.

Santa gave lots of Rapunzel stuff.
She got her new Princess bike that she asked for.

Kate was very excited about her new toothbrush in her stocking.

Merry Christmas

Kate sprinkling reindeer food.

Kate made Santa a delicious gingerbread cookie and decorated it.

Kate finally received a pair of Twinkle Toes from Aunt B.

McKinley bought Kate a very special gift....silly bands.

Christmas at Great-Nanny Dodsons

Everett had to work on Christmas Eve, so that is why he is in his uniform for our Christmas Eve picture.
